Speed Up Menu Display:-

1. To speed up menu display click Start > Right click My Computer and click Properties.
2. Click Advance tab and in the Performance area click Settings.
3. In the Performance Option dialog box, on the Visual Effects Tab, clear this checkbox “Fade or slide menu into view”.  Click Ok. 
4. In the System Properties dialog box again click Ok.
