• An s antivirus alone is not enough.  You need a complete internet security suite that should include Antivirus + Anti Spyware and Firewall.  You can have the complete security suite from Different vendors like Symantec, McAfee, Panda or Trend Micro.  Scan your computer with the Anti Spyware program.
• Make sure to install the latest patches, service packs and hot fixes to make your operating system up-to-dated and full patched.
• Install and configure a software or hardware firewall solution. A firewall is used to monitor the inbound and outbound traffic and it can help you to protect your computer from hacking attacks and unauthorized access to your computer or network.
