3 Easy Ways To Speed Up Your PC:-

Keep Your Hard Disk Free of Unwanted Files and Errors:-

The hard disk is one of the major causes of PC problems, including PC slow-down and various system errors.
As you work on your PC, install applications and create new files and folders, your hard disk gets filled up. Over time, many unwanted files and applications accumulate on the disk, causing unnecessary clutter and disk fragmentation.

To prevent errors and fix a slow computer, you need to get rid of this digital junk from your disk. The good thing is that you don’t have to go very far to do this. Your Windows XP operating system is shipped with Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter tools that make regular hard disk cleanup a simple task.
Note: To open these tools navigate to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools.
You can perform the following tasks using the Disk Cleanup utility:

  • Compress old files.
  • Empty Recycle Bin
  • Remove unwanted Internet Explorer files—downloaded program files, cookies and temporary Internet Files
  • Delete temporary files
  • Setup files for applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Uninstall unwanted applications and Windows components.
  • Delete old system restore snapshots

After you have cleaned the hard disk and freed up some space on it, run the Disk Defragmenter tool to defrag the hard drive and make its files and folders contiguous.
Freeing up disk space and defragging the hard drive will considerably speed up your PC and fixe system errors such as memory errors or no disk space errors.
